FCT Renewables (Pty) Ltd is a 100% South African-owned company based in Paarl, Western Cape, South Africa. Originally established as a supplier of telecommunications infrastructure, FCT has grown into a comprehensive solutions provider, covering all aspects of telecommunications while expanding into renewable energy products and turn-key services within the wind industry with a diverse portfolio.
With over 30 years of experience, we specialize in guyed meteorological (“Met”) mast structures up to 160 metres. FCT Renewables is proudly the sole distributor of NRG Systems in Africa, positioning us as a leader in the field alongside globally recognised brands such as NRG Systems, Campbell Scientific, Kintech Engineering, Thies, Ammonit, and Vector Wind Instrumentation.
Futhermore, FCT has expanded its offering into environmental monitoring solutions with the installation and maintenance of the innovative NRG Systems Bat Deterrent System for wind turbines.
These solutions play a critical role in supporting environmental impact assessments, facilitating project approvals for pre-developed wind farms, and ensuring ongoing compliance and sustainability for operational sites.

Our Services
Our services include wind instrumentation installations, maintenance, assessments, fault finding, site simulation data management, and decommissioning, while also facilitating the seamless import and export of wind instrumentation, met mast structures and various renewable productss across South Africa and the African market.
Our portfolio also includes tailored, turn-key LiDAR solutions, available for both purchase and rental, and specified according to client requirements. In addition, FCT includes NRG Systems Solar Flare systems for pre developed and developed solar farms. FCT now offers environmental monitoring solutions with the NRG Systems Bat Deterrent System for wind turbines.
